The Victorian Flagmarshalling Team Inc. is a group of over 135 volunteers who donate their time to provide trackside marshals at various motor race meetings in Victoria. Some of our members also work at the FIA F1, Indycar, A1 GP, and Bathurst meetings. As a Flagmarshal we are responsible for:

  • Using flags to signal information to drivers
  • Provide information to race control
  • Provide assistance to drivers

Training is usually provided at CAMS Observed License Tests, where prospective drivers tryout for their racing license. Further training in fire fighting and other aspects of motor sport is also provided.

For all our hard work we get to see motor racing close up with the best seat in the house, and the chance to work with a great team.
